      Yes I will get estimates. I have not asked my landlord about carpet and painting, I haven't told her about the mess. Was going to just handle it ourselves since we didn't ask if we could have the room mate. Yes we paid security deposit and first and last months rent when we moved in.

      Well I thought I knew her, but yes, I will put the safety of my husband, pets, and myself foremost and will call the police if I feel she will follow through with her threats. I thank you all for your advice.
