The city that we are targeting is Miami-Dade county. That being said, what is everyone's thoughts on my original post? There looks to be a number of operating venues out of these types of land zoned as agricultural. Apparently I am not allowed to paste their links on this forum however you can...
I am trying to seek some guidance and as much information as possible regarding the ins and outs (what can and cannot be done/constructed) on land that is zoned for agricultural use and used as an event venue space (weddings, mitzvahs, and other large events). I see them on theknot.com and...
Special needs trust has been mentioned multiple times in this discussion. Is a special needs trust an option if my mother is not considered mentally or physically disabled?
And in the middle of all this debate and accusations someone that has given absolutely no input just randomly asks me what the name of my state is. Lmao
Has nothing to do with my participation in a forum. Being accused of fraud by multiple posters when I am simply looking for guidance for something that you yourself stated very clearly is not illegal is what enraged me. I get it that people have their opinions and political philosophies but...
Thankfully your judgement doesn’t really mean anything.
My mother is in the financial situation she is because of choices that she has made in life. Me saying in a moment of rage that I probably pay much more taxes than you does not #1 mean by default that I am well off and #2 even if I was...
Don’t get lost in a couple of words. You may say I brag about my income when all I was saying is that I pay a boatload in taxes. You don’t know how many kids I have and what my lifestyle is. You are simply assuming that I am well off because I said I probably pay far more in taxes that the...
I didn’t mention it because I was less knowledgeable before posting this and thanks to people that actually provide usefull information (unlike yourself) which is what the forum is meant for, I now understand a potential strategy that was meant for situations like the one I presented.
I can...
To be fair that is great but I posted on here to understand the law and some peoples first reaction including yourself is to accuse me of wrong doing instead of educating like @Zigner and @xylene did. This thread would be much shorter and informative for others without your unwelcomed comments...
Isn’t a third-party special needs trust for people with physical or mental disabilities?
What if my mother does not have physical or mental disabilities?
Responses tend to be rude when people are being accused of fraud. Especially when they come to a forum intended to provide guidance and help. Thats life!
@Shadowbunny said “So you want to commit fraud so the taxpayers can continue to support your mother?”
@xylene said “...the 'taxpayers' you are pathetically and irrelevantly squealing about.”
If you and @Shadowbunny have a problem with “taxpayers supporting my mother” while me or my aunt...
It is neither. The $800 she recieves monthly is her social security retirement benefit which is based on her lifetime earnings. The benefits that I am concerned that she may lose have nothing to do with social security.
Thank you for your factual feedback without making accusations as others on these forums find very easy to do.
I like to be strategic and due diligent with my own finances and want to help my mother do the same since 80k can quickly put her in a worse medical coverage and financial situation...
Thanks in advance for your answers.
My grandfather passed around mid 2018. My aunt who he lived with and took care of him was the co-owner and beneficiary on all of his accounts so my understanding is that 100% of all his accounts default to her once he passed. There was no estate, trusts, or...
