how much I can claim file the claim for? I know under tenant-landlord law, MD can sue 3x the damage, is the 3x also true with commercial tort?

i went to Shell gas station for gas and car wash in January 2021 and during dry blower process, my antenna cover at the top of my car got blown off by the machine.
the shell gas station and car wash company refused to compensate me, my Hyundai dealer quote me the repair cost is ~$700...
actually here is what i did, a bit mistake actually.
I mailed my paper tax return with them, but without their ITIN to IRS on monday.
then on tuesday I realized I need to file my return without them first, after reading the post here.
then tuesday night, i efiled my return without them online...

so I file the 1040 with them without their ITIN on it? is it for my regular tax filing or for their W7 application? i'm bit confused since both my tax return and their W7 application go to IRS.
ok. let me summarize,
1. we file our 1040 without them first.
2. parents file their own 1040-NR, without any ITIN or SSN on it.
3. wait for IRS to return parents tax transcript. ( is this right ?)
4. use the IRS transcript and their original passport to apply for ITIN using W7.
5. using 1040X to...

I'm filing my 1040 now and my parents are with us for the whole of 2020. but they don't have ITIN or SSN.
in order to apply for ITIN, IRS need a tax return with their name on it.
in order to file 1040 ( at least online ), IRS need a ITIN or SSN for dependent.

homestead exemption only protect primary residence, and only protect it when the owner passed away I think, the defendant got another rental property, that will not be protected under homestead exemption.

i also filed request to garnish his bank account, but chances are, he moved all his money to another bank that he didn't tell me, or opened a new bank account and transfer them out.
and yes, if someone paid cash to buy the house may not care about the lien, but he won't be able to get...
