  My furnace is out and the HVAC tech said it could take up to 3 weeks before I can get a new unit approved. Do I have to wait this long?
  
  Not legal advice but I would pick up several kerosene heaters so the house doesn't freeze up, since you're looking at overnight temps in the single digits. The last thing you need now is frozen pipes / no water on top of everything else. Get some CO detectors too.

  I strongly suspect the seller is correct. I have a business just outside of PA and have customers in PA. The threshold in PA for collecting and remitting sales tax is very low. You can read about it at Pennsylvania Enacts Notice and Reporting Requirements and Economic Nexus Legislation.
