     Splitting up assets and money

     Virginia In what timeframe do you split money and assets? Do I have to report future money or assets or do we only split stuff at the time of original filing? Or is it at the time when the divorce is finalized? We have no kids and we both have our own jobs if that helps any.

     So the divorce should not get in the way of her applying citizenship and it won't hurt her chances of being granted citizenship? I just want to be sure I'm not putting myself in a bad position. She's making me hold off on divorce until she get citizenship. That's a whole 6 months to a year...
