I asked a simple question about an attorney honouring his promise that he made in writing to submit evidence/statement on my behalf. I'm not sure why anything else is relevant, it should be simple black and white laws. Everyone is entitled to provide a statement, pretty sure there's a civil law...
I posted under this section because I thought my attorney's actions constituted ethical violations and malpractice. I asked about specific case law and he lied and said it only applies to trial phase and not pretrial phase. Are these all not valid concerns?
What is the name of your state? California
As the title says, during pretrial phase, attorney refuses to supply evidence, not even my statement or pictures of my wound which he put in writing that he was doing but now has changed his mind and refuses to explain why as I've asked multiple times...
Thank you all for the last page or so of posts, definitely some good advice here. I never asked to sugar coat it for me, and I'm always happy for some constructive criticism.
A few posts did explain, but I think you should read over the thread because that's not what a majority were doing.
Maybe I didn't explain myself enough, didn't realise I would have to go in depth. If you look at your modem/router and have nothing connected, it's lights (commonly internet and...
I suppose that's my fault, I forgot to include MUTUALLY AGREED UPON when I said 3rd party, but I did mention that part earlier. Everything is on the up and up, as outlined in the terms of the order. You should all stop assuming the worst and just ask for clarification, or at the very least read...
Yes, I'm still searching for a cheaper option than my current lawyer who wants $5k on the family side. He replied today to my request for clarification on indirect contact and said it's more to do with information being relayed to the related party through a third party. Guess I took that...
Indeed, that is my back up plan if asking politely through the 3rd party a second time doesn't work, but since our next court date is months away, I think the only "quick" solution is a family lawyer. Depressing to think you can so easily ruin a person's life with one false accusation, thereby...
I have terabytes of personal media, and while I did download some priority stuff, I don't have a lot of storage space on the laptop I'm using to download everything. I would essentially be downloading, viewing then deleting which is annoying as the whole setup is glitchy and imperfect.
I'm...
They are life coaches that have been proven right more often than not in my experience, hence why I jokingly called them psychics. But given that all my family and even my lawyer was telling me to go on the offensive when I wanted to take the high road, I looked to other people that were...
My concern is as I stated above, the picture notification of my spouse appearing to "talk" to the doorbell as if I could hear it. I didn't hear anything as I was most assuredly not watching it. But even when I uninstall the app, the modem/router lights would still flicker when I am streaming...
What's concerning is the stigma around restraining orders and the "restrainee", as if a spouse has never made false accusations in order to receive some form of monetary compensation.
Here's some reading material for you, if you so choose...
The issue with the camera is recent "saved picture" notifications show her "look" like she's talking to the camera as if I was watching, but I was actually downloading wedding photos/videos off my server.
I don't like the term restraining order, and given it is based off of false accusations...
