ensani - sorry man i guess i read over it too fast. thanks again though.

carl - ohh no. That b&p 25662 is still on there. However i think it will be removed after i turn in my AA meetings, but is it unfeasible to ask that the reason for suspension of license to be changed to "minor in posession" or anything other than "execessive Blood alcohol"?

moburkes - thanks. However, I dont know so much about Minor in posession penalties, but i do know that if you are convicted and/or arrested (which niether happened) then the court/dmv will order that you carry an sr-22. Yes i know it wasnt moral do to what i did. Its already been rubbed in enough. haha. Do you know if the MIP carries the same penalty of carrying a sr-22? As far as rates... I dont know how a minor in possesion will affect them. Its not a moving violation so i dont understand why it would affect driving ability thus causing my rates to increase... Well i do understand because its alcohol and all that good stuff... but I guess you get what im trying to say.
I sell insurance, so I see violations after they are already on the record. In all actuality, I have no idea what requires an SR22 (in general terms I do, but an MIP, I have no idea). I can tell you that an actual SR22 only costs $5 to $40 itself, but the insurance company raises your rates based on the fact that you NEED one, as opposed to raising your rate for the small SR22 fee. Sorry that I can't help you. What about your local dmv's website? It could probably answer that for you.
