time of conception happened in arizona

My response:

Then Arizona law applies. Daddy can contact the District Attorney's office in the city where your boyfriend lives, and discuss his "avenues" concerning Statutory Rape.

My response:

You don't seem to understand. Statutory Rape doesn't require your "consent". As a minor, you cannot LEGALLY "consent" to have sex. That's why it's called "Statutory Rape". Also, it doesn't matter if you move. All Daddy needs to find out is that you're pregnant, or after you give birth, figure out the months and count backwards. If his figuring backwards takes you back to being a "minor", your boyfriend is sunk.

So, unless you plan on running away and not seeing your parents again, then figure on the fact that your father meant what he said.

Regardless of whether you marry him or not, the stat rape laws in AZ can apply. Only if no action is taken during the statute of limitations (usually very long for sex crimes) can he get away from it.

You might want to look and see what the age of consent is in AZ.

And my guess is that the two of you can ill afford to support yoursleves much less a child. This was certainly NOT a brilliant move, regardless of the legality.

EDIT: Yep - he's committed a crime in AZ:

13-1405. Sexual conduct with a minor; classifications

A. A person commits sexual conduct with a minor by intentionally or knowingly engaging in sexual intercourse or oral sexual contact with any person who is under eighteen years of age.

And the proof is in the DNA of the child.

Hopefully they are legal and don't require either of you to sponge off the government or the kindness of others.

When I was 20 I was barely able to support myself - much less a wife and child. And when I was out of college, it still took me a few years to get to a point where I was doing "okay".

You THINK you know what to expect being on your own and with a child, but until you do it, all your guesswork is simply theory.

Boyfriend can still go to jail.

Your dad isn't the only one with the power to report statutory rape, hospital staff when you give birth can report it or anyone else who knows about the under age sex you've had.

How are you going to support a family?

My response:

Drug sales. How else?

From the way our writer talks, it wouldn't surprise me that she's from Southern California - - most likely, the South Central area. You know, the Central and Normandie Avenue area, the intersection where Reginald Denny was slammed with bricks next to his truck.
