Thanks Jazz for the link. Question, if the mother didn't work last year [well, one week] and the only income she received were financial aid loans would she is considered to have "zero income"? Based on the "incomes" of both parents would the support still be divided in half? How far back do they in determining our incomes [one year, two]? She is also on state assistence [title 20/food stamps].

My case

we have offended a mentally challelenged girl on our school bus. I am the only 12th grader on it. Actually we were making fun of her be teasing, laughting, some people were throwing that stuff that bus seats stuffed with at her and laught etc. I joked at her by telling to open the emrgency door and there is a heaven behind it, while bus was running. Then i bought her a candy, and i could not even imagine that it will make mad her sis, and yesterday they went to see own lawyer!!!! What probability of according to my sistuation of that, that i can be called to the court??? And what can of punishment i should execpt: conpensation, jail or community service??? I dont know what to do becasue i did not offend her physically in any way!!

Neal, I won't do that. I just do not want to have to pay support twice!

Keep records, like writing checks to her with "Child Support" in the memo, this way if they do asses an arrearage this can be deducted as monies paid for support...Do not give her cash or purchase items above an beyond what you are paying her unless you want to gift these items, as they do not count as child support... (Clothes, food etc are considered gifts)

How long has she been on assistance from the state (food stamps)? Hopefully, you weren't living together and just not considering your income in the calculation for assistance? If she has been receiving assistance since the Childs birth you would have a hard time stating that you supported your child together, and you could be responsible for paying back the assistance she did receive...

Judging by the nearly total incomprehensibility of your post I would say the you were mentally challanged...Were you both riding on the short bus??
