i had my 3 yr old daughter today and just took her back to her mother's house. My wife dressed my little girl up in a yellow easter dress for church tonight. She also curled her hair in ringlets like shirley temple. She had on dress shoes and a little pocketbook purse thing. She also put pink nailpolish on her. When I took my daugher home her mother said that she looks like the whore of babylon. She didnt have any makeup or anything on. the ex is some kind of conservative religion now i think baptist or something? which is a laugh bcause she lives with a man shes not married to and has a baby with him. She says that she doesnt want my wife doing anything for HER daughter. She said that shes gonna file for some kind of thing where my wife cant be around my kids at our custody hearing in a a week. I dont think she can do that right? my wife is really good to the kids. she loves em and just wanted to make my little girl look cute. i dont know how i would take my daughter on visitation if she coulnt be around my wife since we obviously live together.

It was a yellow easter dress that went just below her knee. But it had something in it to make it bounce out I guess. It had a bow in the back. ya know that kind where the little girl can spin around and it will go out in a circle. it was appropriate, and not at all indecent or anything. and she had white tights on. With white shiny shoes on. I usually do sent her back in the clothes she came in after theyre washed, but i had to drop her off right after church because of the time. Plus I thought she looked cute. i would never think that anyone else wouldn't think she looked adorable. All of the people at church kept saying how adorable she is. and my daughter called herself a princess all day. Daughter ran up to her mom and said look mommy im a princess. Her mother said SHE LOOKS LIKE THE WHORE OF BABYLON front of my daughter and angrily grabbed picked her up and walked into her house and slammed the door after yelling threats along the way to her door. I think she was just jealous, and I couldnt care less. But i wanted to make sure that she cant legally do anything. my wife has never and would never be a danger in anyway to my kids. we also have a baby together. shes a great mom to all.

That was an appropriate Easter Outfit, the bounce part was either a petticoat or crinoline, Victorian perhaps but not Babylonian, lol! Did she also have little white gloves? Don't worry she'll wear the same dress to the Baptist Chruch tomorrow, lol. or one very much like it that mom already bough or will buy to out do you and your wife.

Your exwife's remarks were not only inappropriate but also hurtful to your daughter. Please remind your daughter that you thought she looked lovely and ladylike. Document what your wife said for future use. Maybe one day you can get custody of her! I think it's wonderful the stepmother gives special attention to your daughter. Your ex is jealous.

Just want to clarify we were never married. thank god. I sued for custody of both of my kids. The hearing is in a week. she has 1 and i have 1. We'll see what happens. Shes been getting worse and worse in the past 2 years. This is just the icing on the cake. I wish i could post a pic of my baby girl so you could see how ridiculous this is. Also it was so sad to hear my daughter crying when her mom grabbed her like that. and so unfair.

Your daughter's mother's comment was horrible, and very dangerous to your daughter's mental health. Children who get comments like that, especially from their mother, are more likely to grow up with all kinds of problems due to their feelings of self esteem and worth being destroyed.

You won't be able to change her mom, but you can help your daughter. As was already stated, keep documentation, or a journal of all of it. AND get your daughter into counseling ASAP. Even at her young age, it can work wonders.

Play therapy. My five year old is in therapy for a learned defience disorder. As far as I can tell the therapist and my son play games and kind of talk. Lucky for me my son seeks adult attention and opened up to her right away.

I'm sorry that she said that about your little girl. Mine, well, her dad and stepdad call her a little princess all the time. Now I'm not allowed to call her peanut. Mine is going to look absolutely adorable tomorrow for church, just as I'm sure yours did. Good Luck!!

As far as a know no judge will rule against your wife not being able to see your daughter when you have you visitations unless you wife is harming the child in some way. You have a stable home environment and the judge will see that and see right through the nature of the accusation of you ex-wife

Your daughter's outfit sounds cute.....nothing wrong with it at all. And what a great wife you have to pay such good attention to your child. Your ex is jealous plain & simple. It's usually a woman who will take the time to dress a little girl this way.....painted nails and all.....and your ex is jealous of "the other woman's" role in her daughter's life.

No, your ex cannot keep your wife away from your daughter for this reason. Tell your ex to take a "chill pill" and get counseling for herself.

Do you have photos of her dressed up like this? Document word for word exactly what happened and what ex said in front of child. Hopefully, ex will herself try to make an issue of this "outrageous" appearance. At which point you can pull out the photo and notes, leaving ex to look looney tunes to the judge.

I mean, I don't allow my 7 year old to wear hip huggers (of course, she doesn't have any hips to hold them up) or crop tops, or shirts with any questionable phrases (like Hot Babe. which, believe it or not, I have actually seen on kid's wear!) but a little dress with toille under it is standard little girl dress-up wear. I'm sure she was darling all dolled up with curls for Easter. How terrible that mom burst her self-image like that!
