You can't even bring his drug use to court unless you have proof of what's going on. Even then it's not guaranteed to change custody...can you prove that your child is endangered? A failed drug test doesn't mean either parent will lose custody or even have visitation changed.

You need a reason to change the current order - at the moment it doesn't seem like you have enough. Stay sober, keep your nose clean and see what happens over the next 6 months or so.
u see thats what i thought before. but i lost my son and the only reason was i was charged for usage. no possesion or anything. just drug use. i went to jail, i went to rehab, i aint on probation no more. cps closed the case(back in march) and ive been good. but yeah the only thing they held agianst me was the drug use, and that they had him more than me. which now is exactly what his dad is doing. so how is that fair?????? u understand what i'm sayin??? it aint right. i first lost my son in feb of 07 so its been so long.

krystal, to get the conviction they either had proof of something or a confession, y'know ? I know you did your time, you're clean and you're doing all the right things. And that's really great! It really is. But because of your past mistake you do have to take it slowly and let the wheels turn - it's not going to be easy or fast. You've got to give it time.

Try and be patient - you haven't lost your son.
