Closed purchase agreement 1 year ago and agreed to the seller getting a first right of refusal but it still has not been written. I guess I just need to make sure of the wording in that first right to protect myself.

Are you leasing property right now with an option to purchase? Are you purchasing the property on a land contract? Or did you agree to sell your property to someone?

I agree with Zigner that, if you are concerned about the wording of any agreement you signed (or plan to sign), you will need the services of an attorney local to you. Analyzing contracts and helping to write a contract go beyond the scope of this forum.
