Sorry I have not gotten back sooner. THANK YOU so much for the advice. I got all the school documents in order from kindergarten through this year. I also have all my court papers showing my rights to these documents. My medical history I have had since the first court battle. So glad I hung onto those. I documented the dates and times I spoke to the school principal and superintendent of the district. I wrote a list of the weekends I lost time due to my ex putting him into a busy sports schedule, and I made notes of Smom's remarks, phone calls, and even about the "almost" physical confrontation for her sending my son to his room for not calling her mom, plus I have a witness ......my dh.

Cjane****************************......I have thought long and hard, and yes, since I KNOW I can foster a positive relationship between my ex and myself and NOT exclude him from his son's life, I am thinking of asking for equal legal rights, and him keeping physical custody. I do know that a judge can order that. I do not want to uproot my child from his school and friends. I think it is a good idea to ask that all school parent teacher conferences are set up for both "parents" to attend together alone, and the IEP for my son is going to have to be modified to include my input and participation on as a team member. Is this a good way to present myself to the attorney? I am not out for vengeance, just my rights as mom. Thanks, Faith
