What is the name of your state? AZ What are the value of Affidavits Sworn before a Notary in a civil court action. Can they be offered as evidence.

They can be offered, but most courts will not admit them. They can't be cross-examined, are subject to errors and the court can't 'read' their body language or presentation.

Thanks JETX

I thought that may be the case but wanted to get some form of testimony from a witness that is moving out of state. I have also taken photos and thought that they may offer support for the statements made in the affidavits. Thanks for the info.
