After I file ch 7. How long after does it take to stop the wage garnishment?
What will I need to do to make it stop ASAP.

Your attorney will handle it. Generally speaking, a fax to the judgment creditor with the bk filing number and date filed and a request to honor the automatic stay is all it takes.

Does he have to send it to my employer also?
All payment is going to the sheriffs office, should he fax a copy there and tell them to stop right away?
