NY Thankyou Ldij! Any info you can give me on PAS(parental alienation syndrome) in NYS and if judges and lawyers even consider this? Thankyou in advance for any and all help!
PAS isn't very highly regarded anymore. It never was totally "mainstream", and it more or less went south when its "founder" committed suicide about a year or two ago. On top of that its founder was pretty controversial prior to that anyway.
That doesn't mean the alienation is irrelevant or insignifcant...because it absolutely is NOT....it just means that calling it "PAS" may do more harm than good.
You will probably get better advice if you tell us what is actually going on.
