Why did you decide to focus on the gay thing and name calling?
My point is that he told the Judge in open court that he cannot afford to eat, yet he can afford to routinely go on mini-vacations. He has a profitable side business that he denied in court, yet sent an email to me stating he "even had to spend all my Avon money to pay you and fix my truck." HIS contention is that I only want him to pay my support because he is gay. MY contention is that I was married to him for 30 years, had 7 children with him, financed his secret lifestyle without knowing it, and was manipulated into giving up my government career and moving because his 2nd life was about to be exposed and his cover would be blown. Florida law says I'm entitled to support due to the length of my marriage and his ability to pay, and the fact that I need his support to rebuild a lifestyle that was stolen from me. I don't want anything more than the law will allow. Florida law also stipulates that bad behavior during the marriage can also be used to determine alimony. I believe the fact that he broke my bones and bruised me when I discovered his secret, and he siphoned family money for years to fund his many vacations that I thought were work-related until now, and he lied on his financial affidavit and in open court, will be the reason he may make an agreement with me in the end.
That's it...it has NOTHING TO DO WITH GAY, it has everything to do with deceit, dishonesty and manipulation of both me AND the Court.
You don't know me. Why would a professional person reduce themselves to spending more energy on name calling than postively contributing to a conversation on a self-help website?
I'll figure out this answer on my own.
