I enlisted prior to the accident, but was involved in the accident prior to actually going to boot camp. According to my credit, the negative hits started occurring while at boot camp. I'm hoping I can at least get the negative hits and interest removed in that the first notification I have received just came the other day in the mail.. Am I in the wrong to hope for this? According to the military, it's ask questions first, pay later. Replies like "Then she should have. Pay the bill." are taken but not appreciated. Understand I have terrible credit now because some company didn't let me know they wanted my cash****************************...
I'll be makin' a few calls tomorrow.
Was it a dirt bike or a road bike, and where did the accident happen?

Health insurace CAN and WILL pay for auto-accident related bills, if there is no coverage available under an auto insurance policy for the claim. Did your health insurance pay for the rest of the bills related to the accident? If so, then they wouldn't have denied JUST this one for being related to an auto accident. So there are some other questions you need to ask.

Was the bill ever submitted to your health insurance? If not, why not? If so, did they deny? Why did they deny? If they denied it for being not medically necessary, then you ARE going to be responsible for paying, unless you want to try appealing it with your insurance company, but I don't know how far you'd get. If you don't need special care or equipment during transport, then an ambulance wouldn't be medically necessary.

Yes, you're wrong.
This is not that cut-and-dried. The health insurance company could have been responsible. Also, another drivers insurance could be responsbile. The OP should look into those avenues as well - or even first. I'll bet an insurance company somewhere should have paid for at least some of it. Get them to pay, and then ask them to take it off your credit report. Many times they will delete it.
