The empty boxes are what I have been seeing. I went back to some of the older threads that I can still edit and replaced the links. But I am unable to fix very many.

I'm not going to. I have 4500 posts and the search feature here doesn't work well. I was only able to find about a dozen. Anyway, I figure if an OP needs additional help on an old thread he/she can update and then I can figure out what resource I linked to and replace it.

Well, the edit feature is not available for threads that are too old anyway. I only looked at threads that were a couple of weeks old.

I really did not prepare my posts well for link failure - in some posts I only wrote "here is a link." This is now followed by a blank box. I have no idea what I linked to (although I am sure whatever I linked to was pertinent and an excellent source - haha).

Now, for today's tale of woe ... I had problems logging in to FA at work as it did not recognize my nickname or either of the emails I have had associated with this site. THEN, when I did manage to get on (for some reason my work desktop lets me in automatically, but the laptop doesn't), I find that my name changed from CdwJava to Shoppdu!!!!

So, WTH???

What should we understand...Your horrifying need to post garbage to our members? If you would actually read the questions and then look up the state stat and advise properly...you would have no issues here.
