If the arbitrator's award statement states "...judgement in favor of plaintiff againts the defendant in the ammount of $x.xx plus costs"

What exactly does "plus costs" mean? Does the court determine what that figure is, or do I have to submit some kind of expense report to the prothonotary to show what my costs were?

If I submit the report - what kinds of things can be included - lawyer fees, court fee, appeal fee? Since I represented myself - can I include time I spent preparing the paperwork for the suit?

Thank you

Costs are just the court fee, as well as if there were depositions or court reporter time, the expense of those, if those were filed with the court.

No lawyer fees. But the appeal fee may be able to be taxed as costs.
