Actually OP lists 6 courses...and OP raises SS course cost as an issue as well as going to home country ....IF OP needs the courses then OP needs to make arrangements to get it done ...and perhaps going home needs to be reprioriztized ...a different practical concern may be that few schools offer elective courses over summers ..but I'm not in NV .

You summarized nicely what was noted by Kiara and others already.

It appears that the best first step for Kiara to take is to speak to her counselor. If she leaves for the summer without finding out what her status is and without making arrangements to make up lost credits, she might find it difficult to graduate at the same time as her classmates (although if she is not yet a junior - and she says she is a freshman- she could have time left to attend summer classes next year).



As an aside: I couldn't locate any high school in Pennsylvania that has study halls. Perhaps I didn't look well enough.
