What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA - My exhusband and his attorney approached my attorney the week we were closing on the house to ask for a reduction in child support - he had already previously agreed to split the commission that had to be paid to the re agency when the house sold - during the week of closing I said I would sign the next week (as there was too much to do this week with the closing) and my attorney (and his) had an "attorney agreement" that he would put aside his share of the commission and pay me out of his proceeds from the sale of the house. Well, it's now three weeks later and they have reduced the price from 1/2 the commission to 1/4 and have reduced the "agreed upon" new child support price three times. I clearly was told there was an "attorney agreement" and now this has changed three times - what is an attorney agreement if it can be changed? Anyone heard of this?
