My boat was in my driveway when it caught fire. It was completely destroyed. My homeowners insurance is denying the claim based on the fact that I never informed them I had this boat. They have a different boat,(which was sold 4 years ago when I bought the current one), on their records. The boats are similar in value, if that matters. I can prove ownership going back 4 years. Is their denial of my claim valid? I live in New York State.
