We ignored the door because it would have messed up our bridge game and our tea would have gotten cold. Weird how CDWJava was right the first time.
Wow ... teenage boy being a smartass ... who would thunk it!? :rolleyes:

(As a note, I have four of them teen boys ... I understand that animal.)

Ok, that was amusing....however, again, cops don't simply pick random houses to check. They are not allowed to do that. So...even if you were not drinking, something was going on at your house that caused the cops to check it out...maybe from something they observed, or maybe due to a call from SOMEONE.

Whatever it was that you were doing, you should probably avoid doing it again.
What if the cops also say there's been fireworks in a location nearby? Would cops respond to that and go to check 'random houses' in the general/wider area even if fireworks are legal?
