I appreciate the lesson in Harrassment. I never would have known the legal definition had you not been so magnanomous as to share it with me.

Now, go back to the initial post and show me where in the poster's own statements, was there anything that even remotely links the statements of anyone to harrassement.
Where DO you people learn this crap?

Actually yes, if these people have threatened this person, they can file a no trespass or something similiar in their state. And what would they be telling the court they were threatened with?

By going "public" I meant that this person needs to let their boss know ahead of time the situation that is going on, doesn't need to give specific details, but a general overview, OH! A general overview, why would they want to involve the boss?

and that there is reason to believe these people may try and provide information with wrong intentions.Who care what the intentions are? The husband and wife of the two are having the "Wrong Intentions"

That way the boss isn't told a dramatized version of an already bad situation. Where do you get this stuff? Your name isn't Megan is it?

notabadperson, depending on your relationship with your boss, you may wish to let him know there are some folks who are angry with you and have threatened to try and cause trouble for you at work. You could ask him to let you know if he does hear from anyone.

Most employers are far more concerned about what you do for THEM than they are about what you are doing elsewhere.

You will probably find you have more supporters than not if you follow through with your plans.

Not everyone in the world thinks they are in a position to judge others. Those who do....pfffft!

In response to where in the first post did it talk about harrassment, here it is: My question is, how far can someone go with slander and harassing someone before I can stop it
I am sorry that you are offended that I am willing to help someone "so bad" due to them having an affair. You even ask if I would want to do business with them. Yes, I would. You see, what they do outside their job is none of my business. I also am in no position to judge another on what they do. That is their business, not mine. If however you are actually going to believe that she is a minority by having an "affair", you are wrong. An average of 50% of Americans admit to having at least one.
The woman came on here looking for help, instead of bashing her, I tried to help her. Maybe I was wrong, but I thought that is what these forums were for???

You are either a fool or seriously deluded if you think your response was LEGALLY helping the poster.

As stated, this person can stand outside the business on a public sidewalk and state that the two people, while married to others, are carrying on an affair and the law OR this poster can't do a damn thing.

Now, want to tell me I'm wrong?
