What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MO

My niece pawn two items and when she went back in to pay on them, she was on time, he sold the items and he still demanded that she pay the loan. She refused and he took her to court. He lost in court. A few days later he garnished her paycheck, so he can get his money from the loan he gave her on the two items she pawned. Can he still do this after he lost in court? Thanks

He didn't lose in court, a garnishment cannot happen without a valid judgment. It also takes more that a few days after the court session to begin the garnishment process. Your niece obviously has her facts messed up.
