a lil history 1st... bought a car 5 mths ago... did a deferred pymt option..(put a lil down, the rest later)...one deferment was in the form of a post dated check for like a week n half later... well check never got posted...3months later i put a stop pymt on check, 1month after that dealership tries to post this check, another month goes by , dealership calls w/ threats to repo my vehicle.. i know lein holder has ultimate say but could anyone give me some advice as to my legal obligations, if any to this dealer,...o and vehicle contract does state that down pymt was paid in full
