Purchased a used car and was told that I can purchase an extended warranty through the manufacturer directly. (Both different car companies but owned by the same person.)
Went to manufacturer and they will not offer us to extend the warranty because the car was a rental car.
Went back to dealership and requesting a refund. They are only offering what they payout total is and trying to have us slide our loan towards the purchase of another car.
Total $64,000 (that included down payment of $12,500)
Their payout is $58,000.
At this point, I do not want to look at another car with these dealership and would like the total amount returned and not the payout amount or depreciation value. How do I proceed?
