How do I go about getting a copy of my text messages from my cell phone provider in Florida? Please help.

They told me it has to be court ordered..... Per they're privacy policy
Did they also tell you that they don't keep copies of text messages for very long?

They do keep cell phone call records - and the number that is being texted. But I'd be very surprised if they have copies of the actual text messages other than perhaps the last couple of days (which will be moot by the time you get a court order).

You can tether your phone to your PC with the proper hardware/software and save the rest from now on.

To get a copy of your own cell phone records, you will have to subpeona your provider. I do not believe deleted text messages come with that.

One idea might be to go to your providers web site and sign up as a current account holder. It may be there if your company bumps your SMS through an email service before it gets to you.

Also, maybe not.

Too bad that a HUGE chuck of any of the stuff is inadmissible in court.

Are any of the senior members

genuinely trying to help those asking a question or is this one of those free for all forums where post are judged despite no one knowing a thing about the person posting?

If you aren't an attorney what are you then to know what you are writing is true? Just curious. I see A LOT of this crap from "senior" members, but no real assistance. Do you just spend a majority of your time searching forums so that you can insult a new post cuz nothing else is going on in your lives or do you serve some real purpose? I am sure a lot of us newbies would like to know but are afraid to ask. I am not afraid to ask. So lay it on me.

And pray, what exactly have YOU contributed?

Hmmm? You're hardly a newbie. You've been here since 2005.

Like I said, folks. Uranus is retrograde.
