Changing Mediators

The mediator stated that I would not get 50/50 custody. The mediator also made mistakes regarding money and parenting time that were in the petitioner’s favor.

In the state of Colorado, how does one request a different mediator in a re-evaluation of parenting time?
You are not going to get a different mediator just because you did not like the mediator's recommendations. You would have to prove that the mediator had an unreasonable bias to have any chance of prevailing. Since 50/50 is not the standard in any state, you would have a hard time proving that the mediator had an unreasonable bias for not recommending 50/50.

That might be a reasonable statement on the mediator's part.

Just because you're not getting what you want does not mean that the mediator in not competent.

There are many reasons for 50/50 to not be optimal, for the child. Given that you have provided no information, no one can speculate on whether the mediator is biased or simply realistic...
