I thought maybe you got a phone call in between posts. I'm not against you I am looking at it from an outside view. I understand your frustration. You need to take a look at it from the managements point of view.Jascar84 said:LOL..I think you got confused by the post. It meant, I returned the money, it got stolen by another employee. The matter has yet to be resolved, which should be sometime this afternoon. Even though the 3 of you who responded are against me on this...I'll keep ya updated.

So, if your friend borrowed your car- but it started making weird noises- so he got 'nervous' and just parked it back on your street & left the keys inside...then someone came along & took the keys- You'd be perfectly fine not asking him for the cost of making new keys? You'd just foot the bill because, after all, HE didn't steal the keys! He left them inside the car when he returned it! And it's not "illegal" after-all to return someone's property this way...it's just stupid & irresponsible.Jascar84 said:What is the name of your state? Indiana
Any advice on what I can do?? Ok, I worked for a large Pizza company (don't know if I should use their name.) Anyway, they hired me as a driver. (I only got training for one day.) The next day I went to my first delivery. As I am unfamilliar with the place (just moved there) I was looking for the house for at least 40 mins. I was so discouraged with the job, I brought the pizzas back, along with the $20 dollars for change, and left it in the heater bag. I discreetley left the building. The next morning I get a call from a manager asking where the money is, saying they will press theft charges if I don't bring it back. (By the way, I wasn't even trained to open the cash register I just wanted to get out of that place.) Anyway someone stole the $20, and they are blaming it on me!!! While I was arguing with the manager about it on the phone, he asked the employee who opened it up if he took it....he of course said no. The owner is gonna call today some time...what should I do?? I'm not paying for something I did not steal. Any help will GREATLY be appeciated.
LMAO!! He can't figure out how to use a map or ask questions! ....Oh My, I feel so much safer that he'll be joining the ranks of our criminal justice system.rmet4nzkx said:OMG!!!
The police are not going to do a polygraph over a $20 dollar theft. Even if an employee "found" the money in the bag, or on the floor, doesn't make it theft, who knows what really happened other than OP was responsible for the money and failed to return it to his employer. The way you quit is not appropriate, you just don't slink off like you did. It does not bode well for your future How much training does it take to tell the manager, I got lost. Was it wise taking a job delivering Pizza when you don't know the area or how to use a map? How are you going to be able to investigate anything if you can't use a map or find a house?
