Another good one that gave a very good friend of mine a laugh just the other day is when her ex husband called and asked if he could stop sending the court ordered child support for a few years because he wants to buy a house with his girlfriend. lol

LOL! - My ex did almost exactly the same thing - with one exception: instead of paying the debts from our marriage with the money from the sale of our house (as agreed), he used it for his new McMansion. So, he asked the mediator if it was fair that he was responsible to pay CS if it limits his ability to buy a new home with his new wife. Even the mediator laughed...

I spent 2 hours on the phone today explaining to my ex that he may NOT deduct the dollar amount he spent on the kids Christmas presents from his
amount of child support owed.

Sure.. But did your ex ask you to pay for her boob job? Mine did (and a tummy tuck to go with it).

Or did your ex ask you to renovate her kitchen for her in addition to paying alimony and CS? Mine did.

Did your ex ask you to buy her a new car - since hers was over 3 years old (Mercedes) and over 30,000 miles?
