Ditto! Unreal for her to say that. Granted, 2 thousand a month is like poverty to me, but he pay's very minimal for three kids.

You can't discount him filing for custody. What are you on? Stick to the question. You are seriously overboard here.

Even the most disinterested parent has been known to file for custody when they suddenly get hit hard in the wallet. And? The lady has a right to get the correct amount of support.
The child support agency really IS worth it. They basically handle these things for free. Attorneys in the US generally charge between 250 - 450 an hour...so you do the math.

Your wife has every right to file for a child support increase...particularly after so many years. However, its pretty much a fact of life that it will cause some traumna....so you both need to be prepared to deal with that. This isn't Doctor Phil, nor are you Doctor Phil.

Here is what I have done. I made my complaint. You can continue to be a loser [i.e. social misfit: a socially maladjusted person] and dispense your lower level education experience here. You, and those like you, do everyone here an injustice by even being a member of the fourm. You have nothing better to do with your time then berate people for their issues. I bet you have a few. OP, has your wife decided for an increase in child support? Or does she still not want to do that?

Of course, the missing variable is what Mom's income is now, and what it was when the order was initially set. That might have some impact.
