We have notified an employee, her spouse and her dependent that they are eligible to elect cobra continuation coverage. The employee was on a family plan and still lives with her family and is still married.
We have recieved the election form back and the employee has elected single coverage. Do we need to send a notification to the Spouse and Dependant with the option to elect coverage in lieu of this or are all bases covered with the first election sent to the entire family?
Please help...I've contacted the dol and they really have not been able to answer my question.
