No, at least not what you would call proof.

They don't care. All they care about is 7 years plus 180 days since the date of first default after which the account has not been brought current.

Fairly accurate statement

It doesn't matter if they have HD video of you signing the contract and receiving the money. A consumer tradeline comes off of your credit report 7 years plus 180 days since the date of first default after which the account has not been brought current. You dispute it -- it goes away. Inhale.

Thanks, so much for all the advice from everybody. I really appreciate it.

As Im going through the process of my situation and have any other questions, do I keep asking them in this thread or do I have to ask a separate question?

I have gone on your sticky DC, and looked over the does and don'ts. Im still not clear as to when the thread gets closed. Is it after the original question is answered or the situation is resolved?

Im grateful for all the help and the last thing I want to be is annoying to anybody. This is also the first time I have been on a forum so Im very new to this.

DC sorry for grammatical mistakes but English is my second language, I will do my best.

If the additional questions are related to this thread, we would prefer they be kept together. That way people attempting to answer you can read through the thread and avoid spending a lot of time going back over the same ground.

A thread isn't usually closed until it becomes abusive or if the person starting it locks it.
