relative.. in custody under alias id... the alias had an outstanding warrant.. now bond is on 3 counts.. total 35K.... all felonies..

real name had a probation warrant in other county...

when will fingerprints match up to real person?

what charge will this add?

friends want to bond out the alias name ... before they match up prints..to real name

will this be bad to bond out the alias?

What was he doing giving a false name to the cops? This is what happens when you lie and give false ID!

When the prints match up, or when the issuing jurisdiction identifies your relative as NOT the person they are looking for, then he coul dbe released ... unless he is charged with providing false identification to the cops.

The best thing you could do now is help him find an attorney.

was told to get him out if possible on bond... and get here to attorney in this county where he will face charges...where he lives....

If you bond yoyo out, knowing he used a false name, you may get in trouble with the bail bondsman, & possibly cops, in aiding & abetting defendant.

He has more motivation to run. I wouldn't bail him out (or stand ready to lose your $/house).

Of course, before he will be admitted to bond he will likely have to have "good" identification. Since he used a phony name he's not likely to be able to come up with a good and valid ID, and eventually they are going to match the photo of the REAL Johnny Felon to the pretend Johnny Felon and then the cops and the jail (and the court) will be asking a lot of disturbing questions.

Police Took Wrong Identity

POLICE TOOK WALLET IN PASSENGER SEAT.. DRIVER WENT TO HOSPITAL PASSED OUT DUE TO LOW SUGAR... UNDER WRONG NAME.. ARRESTED UNDER WRONG NAME... MEDICAL RECORDS UNDER WRONG NAME...

NOW STILL IN CUSTODY .. 3 MONTHS .. WRONG NAME... NO ALIAS CHARGE.. BECAUSE THE POLICE MADE THE ERROR... BUT THE ATTORNEY WANTS HIM TO PLEA GUILTY AND TAKE BLAME FOR OTHERS DRUGS.. POLICE ERROR.. ... EVEN THE STATE HAS FILED A DRIVERS LICENSE REVOKE.. ON BOTH NAMES.. !!.... HE RECEIVES MAIL UNDER WRONG NAME, COMMISARY UNDER WRONG NAME, ANSWERS TO WRONG NAME... AND THEY KNOW WHO IS REALLY IS,, JUST WONT FIX IT...

THE NAME BEING USED .. POOR GUY ..DOESNT EVEN KNOW THAT HE HAS ALL THESE CHARGES AND DRIVERS LICENSE REVOKED BECAUSE HE 'DIDNT SHOW UP' FOR HEARING..

THE PERSON IN CUSTODY HAS BEEN INDICTED BY GRAND JURY USING PRIOR CRIMINAL HISTORY OF WRONG PERSON.. THIS IS INSANE..

Kiddo, they won't know it's the wrong person until someone asks the court/Prosecutor to check the fingerprints & mugshots.

...I had a case go all the way to Preliminary Hearing & when the Dep was asked to ID the defendant, she said he wasn't present in court. Thank God, she was sharp and actually looked at the defendant. Guy was booked under "John Doe 18, and they brought the wrong John Doe from jail (& Yes, his brain was fried from drugs).

OP, you can be convicted of someone else's exploits. Tell your atty; s/he is going to have to tell the Prosecutor(s).

thanks.. ..they only person that was in the vehicle when police , ambulance arrived was my son,, passed out.. took them several minutes to awake him enough to ask some questions.. then they took him via ambulance to the hospital..with the wrong NAME.. then to jail with the wrong name,, then to court with the wrong name.. but he is the only person that the police found in the vehicle.. they just picked up a wallet in the seat.. and it didnt even look like him !!

is there any case law.. or someway to tell this attorney to get him off this ???? this attorney just want to plea guilty and do no work.. !!

help.. or if you know where i can go for help.>>>> i have written the district attorney and the judge with the information .. via fax.. just today... so i guess the prosecutor will be told now.. .
