What I did, young'n, was prevent more bad/stupid/silly info from being disseminated further. My work here has been good.

What is it with MOST of you Senior Members. I can see why you all have thousands of posts, because at least 60% or more of those are criticizing, telling people to move this, move that, delete this, attach that, and things like that with little or no advice.

That's not criticizing. When OPs give a fraction of the details needed to even ATTEMPT to give a hint to the correct direction in law, more info is always needed. And so until OPs can learn how to tell their story like normal mature somewhat intelligent adults, they will be constantly advised to "move this, move that, delete this, attach that" etc etc etc!! Come on, open your eyes!

mAYBE i didnt specify, i am NOT going through a custody battle, im just trying to retain my Visitation, and i will also be getting a restraining order on her as well. I highly believe getting an attorney to represent me for visitation will not cost me as much as a custody battle.

You might be surprised. Visitation battles can be drawn out and even tougher at times than custody because it comes down to the details instead of the big picture. Why do you believe you will be able to get a restraining order against your ex?

i believe i can get a restraining order because of her harrassment to me and my family. I have at least 40 messages on my phone and yes i have transferred them all to a cassette tape. At first she would continuoulsy call and tell me i abandoned my kids and how i dont love my kids at all. Then she started in with these accusations which are not true. My beliefs is my son is getting these behaviors from her. She lets him watch inappropriate movies like the grudge and other movies inappropriate for 4 year old eyes. She makes threats towoards my wifes son as well. So i have lots of reason of getting a restraining order on her as long as i put down that she drop off the kids their grandmothers house at a certain time for me to pick up and i drop them off after visitaton, so we have no contact.

Most likely not restraining order worthy.

Can you authenticate the tapes by PROVING that she was the one to leave the messages and that you have not tampered with the messages in any way? (That's a rhetorical question because by transferring the messages to a tape yourself, you have altered the quality of the tape.)

lol no--you got the wrong idea. When i say behaviors, i mean like him saying inappropriate things and doing inappropriate things. not autism related. He has been saying (according to her) touch the dick. Which to me sounds like he isnt even saying. Thats just one example. He also said to his sister gotta get in the butt...but once again he was probably saying something else...she just twists everything around.

Usually, in order for a restraining order to be granted, you have to convince a judge that you fear for your safety, not just that your ex is irritating.

You'd be better off just requesting that mom only call for certain very specific reasons in the visitation order.
