credit card charges

Is there a way to get the credit cards, etc to stop putting charges on the bill for late and overlimit fees while you are trying to get them paid off. We have canceled all of the cards and are just trying to pay them off.

You can ask and say you would have to delcare bankruptcy unless they stopped. But ask a lawyer -- it will save you a bundle
