CS with other children in Texas

First, I can afford my children other wise I would not have them. My children dress their best (this includes my SD) and do not by any means go with out. We have to send clothes to moms house because she WILL NOT provide anything for her child . The clothes that we send for a 8 year old get worn by the 4 year old. So please do not act like I need to stop since I have only had 2 children but raise 3...which I love. The mother is a alcky and all their money goes to drinking and smoking. So no, I do not want to give them extra money so they can go drink more.

I dont understand how a man can have 3 children one would get 800 and the other two wouldnt get hardly anything to help support them. So since he got a someone knocked up at the age of 18 and the mother decided not to take care of her dad and SM step up to the plate for the past 7 years whike BM has not as much baught a pencil for school...dad gets screwed in teh end since he is the father and not the mother?

Well thats why you should have considered this before you married him and then had more children. That girl was born FIRST. She didnt choose to be born, however YOU chose to marry someone who had children before you.

If you didn't want to take the leftovers from your husbands first marriage/children, then you shouldn't have married him OR just decided to not have children together.

How nice you talk about the step-daughter's MOM that way. So you are saying that half of your step-daughter is that kind of person.

OP -you've gone through the AG's office on this right? so mom is in arrears? do you get any tax intercepts for the arrears? do you know how much she is in arrears?

ok, if mom did get custody somehow, would the her arrears be applied toward CS from dad? how does that work?

op, are you sure your husband is looking at the right charts? for an 800 a month CS payment, he would be making about 63,000 a year... is that correct? he may be looking at 20% of the gross pay vs. 20% of net pay. if he makes 48000 a year, his payment would be 637 a month... not a huge difference but it's something.

at this point try to stop worrying about what if... you can what if yourself into a frenzy and it doesn't do anyone any good...
