What is the name of your state? Nevada

Hello. I run a parody site at http://encyclopediadramatica.com . It allows any and all registered users to post parodies and comical entires into a fake encyclopedia Brittanica-style article.

We feature a different article every week. This week's feature located here: http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php/Amalea is accusing us of 'stalking' and harassment. I didn't write the original article, I simply edited it for grammar, but I am the site owner. Nowhere on the site is physical harm mentioned or threats made. Apparently she is attempting to contact law enforcement and take other legal action. However, she has not made any contract formal or informal with myself or the other site owner voicing this.

I don't want to have to alter our content for everyone who gets their feelings hurt. It's a single article on a large website. We have a disclaimer describing that we are not liable for content and the site is strictly a parody/satire respository. Does she have a civil or criminal claim? What should I do to protect myself in this instance and in the future?

Again, keep in mind I own and host the site, but anyone on the internet can make changes or edits to any of the content therein.

Thank you in advance.

This would be an interesting constitutional law case on whether a person who posts stuff on an internet is a public figure.

I am a believer in an extremely liberal interpretation of the first amendment.

If you get arrested, let us know what happens.

Can this still be considered parody/satire:
http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Megan_Meier ?

For those who don't know the story:

I'm not sure if the mother of the dead girl thinks it's funny. I'm amazed at how much harassment, humiliation and disrespect can pass off as satire on this website. I wonder if "girlvinyl" ever feels guilty or just shrugs it off without empathy.

I hope Encyclopedia Dramatica will be taken down. There are many entries on that website where also living people are humiliated. Making fun of someone happens all the time, but ruining one's life by posting photos, the private address and false information about a person forever on the internet is quite sick.

You DO realize that you responded to a three year old post
Yes, and I think it's still valid to speak up against this website.

All I see is a big pile of insults and defamation that can hardly be called satire.

I doubt the purpose of satire is to make everything worse by bullying, harassing or stalking random people and make lawyers busy.
