I am from IL. I have been fighting a dcfs case now for almost 4 months. If I wasnt a poor single mom I could get an attorney instead of be ignored by my public defender. She handed me over to some caseworker in her office saying she has no time for me. The entire group of people railroading me in this are basically ignoring me like they are waiting for something to happen. The agency that was contracted to my case assigned me a caseworker but she quit and the supervisor over her has now taken the roll of caseworker as well. She is pure evil. She refuses to call me back ever. She wont even call back my older daughter who lives with me still. She is 18 by the way. I have no idea how they can have interest in her. The supervisor changes my visit plan without notice then tells me I should have known and lies to the judge. I never receive anything in the mail though she says all the time she sent something. The GAL doesnt return calls either. At the last meeting we had..some sort of services review for my 7 year old they had the foster mom on conference call and she just went on and on about how my daughter was causing harm to herself etc. My daughter is autistic. She left here potty trained but had some issues still with the potty....fearful of having an accident etc so I let her wear pullups so she can feel secure. She never had an accident though she is just very worried about things. But we managed fine and were happy. The foster mom said she had her in pullups now full time and my daughter was using them to go to the bathroom now instead. When I told them all that my daughter would never hurt herself like that or lie about it they just laughed it off. I am confused as to how this can happen. One of the reasons they took her was because they didnt like that she wore a pullup. The others were because I was told I had to put her in public school and couldnt homeschool her on my own. They said they thought she had to see more doctors etc. That she didnt have enough official checkups. They basically told me I was not allowed to raise my child the way I was raising her. I havent seen her in a month. They wont let me call her. What do I do. Is there some sort of organization out there who helps people in my situation of blatant civil rights
