I feel that my character has been potentially damaged by the false comments of one colleague to another. The statements made were 'The only reason she gets the credit she does is because she and our supervisor have "a special relationship".' and 'She accomplishes more than I because she steals my projects and completes them on nights/weekends.' Even if the colleague(s) these statements were directed at did not believe them - these statesments will remain in the minds of all that heard them. What should I do about this situation?
