sorry to start a new thread but this might be lengthy... again wisconsin.

in retrospect to the post below here is what just happened. wife got kids back today for the weekend, kids told her their father told the boy to do what he doesthat is the concern,(firstly.how can you just HAVE a seizure when told to?idiot!) so the child tried to do it because he was scared, when he did it the father said"your just trying to crack your nech, right. you keep doing that and you can end up paralyzed, how about i just break it for you now and save time?"
then he called my wife to come over and talk, HE OPENLY ADMITTED to saying it. then told her he's doing it on purpose and again stated it was for attention. these kids are so scared now niether my wife or i want them around him. then we find out he kept them out of summer school because the daughter wasn't feeling well LAST NIGHT. why couldn't the boys go to school? and then on top of it he is now calling the boy "TWEAKER". emotional abuse?

then the lawyer calls ,they talk for a bit, and he says well a placement battle is quite lengthy but maybe she can go for an emergency hearing. nothing else was said, are we getting the stif end again? any thoughts up to this point?

please..... i'm about ready to go off on him for constantly threatening and scaring the kids.

thanks again..... sorry i'm a little p***ed off right now...

#1. Your opinion is still meaningless. Sorry.

#2. Tweaker? So? I have all sorts of nicknames for my kids, some of which other people may think are weird. WTF is wrong with "Tweaker"?

#3. Is summer school legally mandated? Is it on his time? He's probably not required to take ANY of the kids.

I really think it's time you got your wife to register here herself and have her deal with the situation.

****** yes i know . thats why i ask for my wife.

****well since he just started having seizures i and my wife don't think its very parental like. say your child had some kind of retartdation. would you call him /her a "tard"?

** no not legally.... he is the one that talked the teachers into saying it would be benificial to do.

*** if i had a computer at home she'd be on it. but since i am the only one with one at work .. you will just have to deal with me.

i'm not asking about ME......... i'm asking about the CHILD.
i'm glad to see a parent can beat scare and just verbally harrass a kid and get away with it. =(

I guess I don't understand the significance of "tweaker". I actually went so far as to look it up and its definition is slang for "catapult". Hell, I call my kids all sorts of silly things - Bubba (my daughter, actually), Doof, Bear, Goomba. Affectionate nicknames. That's all they are. Tweaker? I may have to remember that one. Maybe Tweaks.

I don't know about where you are

But in AZ that's what they call people that are high on Crystal Meth. But I see the point I call my SD rugrat, silly billy and a bunch of others our cats nickname is poopy cat so we could just be weird

Youre' grasping at straws...

With everything you've described, it sounds like you're looking for a reason to be upset with him. Do you realize that when kids see one adult or another become upset, angry, or generally flip out like you just seemed to do, THIS is what scares them? They also tend to act like they think they "should" - so maybe no one was scared in the beginning, but since you made it seem as though they should be, they're acting the part to please you? I guarantee you that in the middle of all this, then were probably all giggling and acting silly.....I just don't see your point, really. Unless, maybe, you need to describe it a little more clearly.

Yeah when I was seperated from my X , she had a scum of a boyfreind. She started calling the yougest daughter rugrat. I rememember It really got my goat. In reality if we were together like 2 peas in a pod,It wouldn't have bothered me.
It's an emotional thing !! Nothing illegal ....

I've heard it since I was young. Child of a former user/dealer. We are pretty backwards here though. I can't remember if they called it that in FL. I don't think so but if you were on crystal you said you were tweaking and people called them tweakers. For all I know it may have died out by now, but I'd bet almost anyone from AZ would think of that if they heard "tweaker". Who knows its all the same really I don't think a nickname is something to get upset about we also call my SD "Boogs" short for booger there is no mean reason it just stuck. Publicly we avoid the more embarrassing nicknames but theres no harm.

tweak is a minor charactor on south park, his parents own a coffee shop and all the kid does is drink coffee.

That may be where the AZ people got it from to I mean people on speed have a lot of energy talk fast etc some of the same qualities as those that drink a lot of coffee. Who knows but with the creators of Southpark I wouldn't be surprised if they meant the drug slang just to see if anyone caught it :D

All things considered, I think it's a complete overreaction. But based on past posts, it doesn't surprise me. Stepfather needs to step back.

I agree and as a step parent that's not always easy. But in the beginning I realized I was getting my fiance (boyfriend at the time) even more worked up by over reacting. It wasn't good for anyone. To the OP I know its hard when your heart is involved but try to remember that children are much stronger than we give them credit for and they act/react off of their parents actions/reactions. Good luck

ok you know what maybe i am "over reacting". but you can't sit here and tell me that they are scared because they see me get all upset when i am not even at home. i am at work all day long so unless they and some sort of super powers that lets them see me while i'm here, i think your in the wrong on that. and also i must also be over reating when i am being told by the kids and HIM that he grabs them by the neck ( both hands ) and squeezes. as he mentioned about breaking his neck. but then again this town is worthless anyways considering he beat the hell out of the 8 yr old boy a few months back and no one did crap either.
