I had some intensive dental work done on me a while ago. Before the work was done, the dentist told me it would be "about $3,500" so I agreed to have him work on me. During the course of the treatment, the dentist realized he needed special tools instead of normal tools to work on me. When it was all done I got a bill for $4,100. I sent him a check for 3,500 and he deposited it in his bank and then filed a law suit against me for $600.00. Do I have to pay that $600.00?

Did he bill you for the other 600 first or did he immediatly start talking about taking you to court.
