What is the name of your state? NY

Last night my girlfriend and I were denied by a co-op board in Manhattan NY, and we feel as though discrimation was the reason since we met all the financial requirements.

Does the board have any obligitations to disclose their reasoning?

Can they have any other valid reasons for denials besides financial requirements?

Thanks for your comments, but most of us with under, say, 10,000 posts, are already aware of how you trolls have made his forum into a joke, sending people away in droves to legitimate sources of information.

You can leave now, and I welcome any adults who care to comment on my questions.

You are the one with the attitude. And you are the one looking for "FREE" advice.

You want to try again?

Oh, what a shame. I was all set to answer this one too until I saw the little "attitude problem". If an answer is still requested, I'll need a $1000 retainer :D

Actually, after his last reply, it's up to $2000. Call it the 'Idiot Tax'.

I'm not interested in a sleazy "new york attorney" who frequents free-advice forums without giving free advice.

Although, that seems to be what this place has become, you don't know the answers and yet you still want to post? lol, get lost bum.

We all three know the correct answer. And you obviously do not. And, I suspect you never will.

Riiiiiight.

Let's try it this way, Einstein. If you sued this Board, there's a pretty good chance that my office would be the one defending them. So, should you decide to forge ahead with your cockamamie lawsuit, if I come across a pro se case against a Manhattan board with these facts, I will know it's you and be sure to show you just how "sleazy" I am. The $2,000 would have been a bargain :D
