As you were told, it makes no difference. An adopted child is every bit as much yours as if it sprang from your loins.I have adopted her child from a previous relationship. We also have a child together. Does anyone know about how much Ill have to pay for support making around 60K a year and she makes about 30K? Does it make a difference that one of them is her child? Or since I adopted him then it will be just like he is ours?
You can estimate OH child support here:

Car allowance should not be included (it is reimbursement for your expense), but if it is exceptionally high, it can be. Normally, your car allowance would be included in taxable income, so some judges might include it. If it's a reasonable amount for reimbursement of your expenses, you could argue to have it excluded. If it's a very high amount, you could argue to have the amount that is reimbursement for your expenses included.I drive the car for work and put 60K miles a year on it. As of right now its ok but its starting to leak and it wont last alot longer.
My gross income, will that include my car allowance or will that be subtracted?
As for the rest, it's best if you can hold out until the divorce is final if possible. I used to have a car that I had to add a quart of oil every 100 miles or so. It's not fun, but it's possible. But if the car does fail entirely, you should be able to get a replacement. If your default orders say that you're not allowed to buy or sell major items, you may need to petition (or, at least, notify) the court, though.
