What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Federal case, New York
Both have extensive databases of briefs. I doubt that either has all the briefs for federal courts of appeals going all the way back to the founding of those courts, but they do have the briefs filed in recent decades. Before looking at briefs, typically you want to start by looking for cases that are on point for the issue you have. Then looking at briefs for those cases might be useful to see how the parties argued the matter. Is there a particular issue that you are interested in?
