I did not co-author. I participated. I wrote chapters on specific accounting topics.
If you "wrote chapters," you co-authored the text. When two or more people contribute significantly to a work, they are legally considered coauthors (although if you were a student, you may have transferred all of your copyrights to the university in a written agreement). It would be appreciated if you can send to me via private message the names of the textbooks you "participated" in creating. Thanks.

Define the legal use of a textbook. Define the legal use of a teacher's edition of a textbook. The plain and ordinary use of the former is to learn a subject and the plain and ordinary use of the latter is to teach a subject.
Define the legal use of a textbook??? Are you trying to divert attention away from the fact that you have no legal source for the (incorrect) information you provided earlier?

There are contracts between school districts and publishers for the use of textbooks in school classrooms. These contracts include restrictions placed by the publishers on the uses.

Do you want me to provide some links on copyright laws for you to read through, LdiJ?

edit to add: I just saw your post, justalayman. My bookends look similar to yours. :)
