dont know how to prove in court lease is no good

I'm in Brooklyn NY ,Please can some one shortly explain from legal/courty point of view if i have a case? my wife and i were married then divorced,i was written into a lease where she lived and now the real estate company wants me to pay for7 moths of rent. the company sent me the lease agreement and the signature on it is not mine, hense forged. A restraining order has been placed on my account and i need this issue resolved as soon as possible. went to court and motioned to reopen the case. how easy will it be to prove that signature was a fake, and I should not be held liable since i did not agree to the terms of this lease and have never signed it or seen it hence making this lease void at least for me and my liabilty for it. plase help anyone with any experience. Thank you. I was not aware of any of these proceedings until my atm showed the balance of 0!

if you're interested in a story here it is. my x- wife cheats on me and i leave, she lives at a place where in a new lease both of us are signed for 2 years. One;i never signed the lease nor was i there when the lease was signed. Two; did not know she put me in that lease. three; just found out today my account is taken over by restraint dept. my question is if this is complete enough,was this lease a legal binding for me to be liable for the amount incurred during the months of non-payment by my wife? again any help is much appreciated .-

Show proof of what your real signature looks like. Show proof that you received mail at a different address.

Sorry we are so busy. I never thought I had to plan out a way for someone to prove they are themselves before.

Dude, your story is fishy smelling and your attitude leaves something to be desired.

i'm new to this forum and i double post it a topic, and insted of someone helping me they announced it's a double post..hmm ok maybe i overreacted with a comment. when you get you account restrained and money locked i would like to see your patience in this matter. nothing is fishy about this except the forged signature, one lawyer told me there's also a signature of a witness and then my signature has no meaning whethere its fake or real witness that signed saw me sign it . now how hard is it to prove i'm not a mule.

If your signature on your license is different from the lease signature that would show it's fraudulant. If you have a passport also, that could probably help.

well i just spent 250 $ on a proffesional forgery report by some guy who's been in business over 30 years. hopefully that would be more then enough in court, i just want to know if that would be enough to cancel anything against me. default judgement already happened
