Of course, he can also be arrested without the FSTs, so it may not have changed the end result.

More than likely the OP believed he was fine and would not have exhibited any impairing signs ... such is the nature of being impaired.
Did the take a urine test or any other test to check for something in your system. In some states possession of the keys in vicinity of the car can be physical control.

Notwithstanding the fact this thread is several weeks old, did you bother to notice the person you're replying is a POLICE OFFICER in California? I think he knows the laws on this a bit better than you. :rolleyes:
